Head back home!

Find out about my technology!

Here I will talk about the technology I have collected and share some images of them!

My modded Wii U!

I got a Wii U for Christmas in 2023 because I really wanted one (yeah, kinda weird for a then-10yo in 2023), and oh my goodness has it delivered! I have loads of games for it most of which are mildly to very entertaining (except Ultra Smash, that one is just bad), and earlier this year I modded it! You see, everyone says to follow the web page wiiu.hacks.guide, but whenever I tried that it wouldn't work; so eventually, I chose to watch a video on it, and it ACTUALLY worked! There's such a satisfying feeling when that screen appears that lets you know "well done, you've got teh files and now you've just got to do all this!", before you go on to finish setup and install a ton of plugins and software. I highly recommend buying a Wii U, but only really if you want to mod it and/or play on official hardware. I love this thing and my Pretendo account/profile is called Scrunkly!! if you cared. :)

My modded (new) 3DS!

So I got this earlier this year for an enormous £220. Yeah, this is one of my more valuable posessions, but it IS awesome. But actually, this is my 3rd 3DS over the course of 3 years. My first was in 2023, when my dear father got me an original red 3DS, and I liked it, but I only kinda used it a lot. Then I modded it in 2025, and it bricked after I messed it up only around a month later. On the bright side, I used the money I sold it for to pay for Christmas presents and a shiny 3G PSVita. Then I got a 2DS around the start of 2026, but it kinda made me annoyed that I didn't have a 3D 3DS. So I spent all my money on my lovely new 3DS, and then my dear mother got me some acnl cover plates for my birthday. In hindsight, maybe I should of got a Japanese new 3DS XL, because I could've modded it and got it un-region locked, and enjoyed the larger screens and stuff, but whatever. Maybe I'll get one of those along with my normal 3DS just for some certain things. Anyway, the 3D is great, it's got great games, etc.

My Sony HMZ-T1 + Playstation 3 (rolls right off the tongue!)

So this is one of the weirder things I own. The Sony HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer. Not a VR headset, a "Head Mounted Display", probably one of the most useless categories of product today, because, like, VR headsets do that and more (think Meta Quest with XBOX streaming). But basically, this thing can connect to your 3D capable device and display HD OLED 3D. The resolution of the thing-ehh. The 3D of the thing however- awesome! Technically it's only supposed to be used by people 15+ , aka not for me. Womp womp. But oh my golly gosh the way the things pop out of the (digital) screen is mesmerising. It's about as good as the 3DS, but of course the bigger and FAR better screen (well technically it's two screens) add to a better experience. Kiiiiiinnnddaaa. The weight of the thing is crazy, it feels kinda cheap in some parts, and (this is probably because it's so old) some bits just fell off :(. Still worth it though!!! And then there's the PS3 I guess, it came with 2 controllers in great condition, blah blah blah, but I only got it (as of writing) just over 1 week ago so I only have those games that came with it. Well, I'll probably update this bit when I actually have stuff for it. In the meantime, your impatient brain can wait (or maybe it's not, idk).

Miscalleneous parts!!!!!!!

So here I have stuff like two lasers (one from a CD player, one a DVD player), more stuff from the players, random wires, and then the cool stuff: the parts from an old laptop! I have the motherboard, CPU, RAM, what I think is some kind of wireless thingy, separate bits for ports, etc. I took it apart when I was like 9 so I did a pretty bad job at it, and in hindsight, I kinda wish I kept it because it was a cool Windows 7 laptop which is a device I want now. But since they cost like nothing I'll just get one in the future. Anyway that's kind of it.
